Do you provide linens and towels?

Yes. Every cabin is made up with fresh linens, blankets, pillows, and bath towels before you arrive. Bring your own beach towels for the lake.

Can I cook during my stay?

Yes, several ways. Every cabin has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The Guest Gathering Space has a full kitchen open around the clock with cookware, dishes, and utensils, plus a dining area. The Cow Cabin and the Lodge have their own full kitchens. Nearly every cabin has its own charcoal grill, and there is a shared propane grill plus a rolling charcoal grill next to it.

How many people can a cabin sleep?

Most cabins sleep 4, the Cow Cabin sleeps 2, and the Lodge sleeps up to 11. See the Cabin's Page, and occupancy is listed on each cabin's booking page.

Yes. Every studio cabin has a Keurig-style maker with K-cups and supplies.

How do I check in?

There is no front desk. We are fully contactless and send your door code before arrival, so you can get in whenever you land. Check in is 4:00 PM and check out is 11:00 AM, with a paid two hour window on either end when the schedule allows.

What do I need to do at checkout?

Drop any excess trash in the dumpster on the west side of the property and close the door behind you. That is it. You are on vacation.

When can I use the game room?

Any time. The Garage is open 24 hours with the same kind of coded deadbolt as the Guest Gathering Space. Enter through the personnel door on the west side. Your code comes with your arrival information.

What are the bar hours?

Thursday through Saturday, 5 to 7 PM. Wisconsin wine and local beer plus other tasty options.

Yes, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We ask you to be especially mindful in the Guest Gathering Space kitchen, which sits right below one of the Lodge bedrooms. It is well insulated, but sound still carries.

Outside only, at least 10 feet from any building. Please put butts in the trash or in one of the two metal bins on the porches.

What is there to do on a rainy day?

The Garage has the game consoles, the big table, and the board games. The Gathering Space has the kitchen and dining area. Both are open to every guest, all day.

How close are you to town, and is there road noise?

Very close, and yes, a little. We are minutes from Devil's Lake State Park, the Baraboo Riverwalk, the Ice Age Trail, Circus World, and the Wisconsin Dells, which is exactly why we are where we are. That convenience comes with a highway nearby. We built a berm and noise wall that block the view of the road and cut the sound down considerably, and most guests stop noticing it after the first evening by the fire. We would rather tell you now than have it be a surprise. If you are a light sleeper, please bring a white noise app or ask us and we will put one in your cabin.
